Holiday Skin Hauls

When I was moving abroad to Spain, I had stuffed almost every skin product to hand in my suitcase. Loads of clingfilmed facial washes, creams and serums rolled into towels and clothes just so I can look alive and dewy when I reached the other side. To my surprise Spain was very much on top of the skincare culture and provided a whole range of supplies in their beauty store Primor. Here are some of my favourite products that I had been using over the past 3 months...

Keisha's Top Beauty Products In England/Spain.

The Ordinary: Now this brand is super affordable and will not burn holes through your bank account. A friend had recommended this to me whilst she was living in South Korea (the home of skincare regimes) and I purchased a few serums when my hormones were taking my skin for a ride.

Niacinamide: My skin was very oily and had lots of dark spots where I had been fighting a long, painful battle with acne. This had cleared up most of my marks and reduced my spots. However, it is powerful stuff which contains a high percentage of Niacinamide and your skin will look incredible so be sure to use it wisely... FYI if you stop using it, you might get spots after.

Caffeine Solution: I'm a bag baby and I do hate seeing puffy, dark bags. Pop on the area of high pigmentation before you go to bed for bright, beaming eyes.

Holika Holika I discovered this when I was visiting my friend in South Korea and this lemon face peeling scrub was a newfound phenomenon, the Holy Grail of facial products. I use this when my skin is peeling from the sun, or when Saharan sand hits you in the face and starts clogging your pores. This buffer will leave your face feeling smoother than Michael Jacksons moonwalk, no exaggeration. I stumbled upon the brand 'Have a ...' as I had left my Holika lemon face wash in another city and needed something to revive my skin. Only a cheeky 2.99 from Primor with a selection of different fruits with unique benefits, this was by far the best deal I'd ever come across on Korean skin care. Enriched in vitamin C, it's very soft and leaves your skin beaming! It lasts for a long time so all you'll need is a small amount, massage the foam into your face for about 1 minute for best results.

Naturally Radiant - GLOW Collection: When you're going to hit the fiesta the next day and you're wanting to manifest a new partner this is all you need.

I tried this for fun and the results were amazing! When I felt a spot trying to raise its ugly head from underneath the surface, I would give my face a good scrub and slap on the 'Overnight Calming Mask'. It really did the job of calming those devils from beneath my skin. This is only to be used every few days, so it's a lovely little treat when you want to have a chilled one and pamper yourself.

The Moisturising Lotion is lightweight and a great travel size. It leaves your face feeling plump and is filled with pre-biotics to help give that youthful radiance. This would be one of the more expensive in-house range's at Superdrug, but it's still under a tenner with a much needed 3 for 2 deal on the good days.

. I always carry 2 anti spot sticks with me just in case, because this gel really goes a long way when spots start popping out of the blue. The facial moisturiser actually does moisturise for those who are thinking if the skin will dry out within seconds of application. There were complaints on the website about the size being too small, but this has taken me more than 3 months to use up! Again it is a great size to just keep in your handbag, especially whilst travelling.

The minty fresh scent will leave you feeling rejuvenated and that's all we need.

Beauty Drops serum was the best step in when they had ran out of The Ordinary. I had bought a bottle at around 3 euros and had my doubts at the almost identical packaging, but Spain does know how to create a good cheaper alternative I'll give them that! The serum was super light and a lot less sticky than T.O which was surprising... Usually with the other brand I get covered in "serum fluff" but this time that was not the case. The Hydraulic Acid glides on very well with all my facial creams and other branded potions which is another plus.

Unfortunately there was not enough time for me to explore all the products they provide, but I could see that they had a lot of great options like, rosehip & primrose oil, vitamin C and loads of vails.
